Build a bookkeeping business, not a bookkeeping job.

Start with one number. Work out what doing your own admin is costing you, then let the book and the program show you what to do about it.

Hand that admin off and bill the time instead

$14,300 a year

That's $275 a week, working the same hours. The defaults are the example in Chapter 8.

If this sounds like your week, I wrote this for you.

You quoted $250 a month. They said another bookkeeper would do it for $120. You agreed, and you've lost money on that client every month since.

You're 8 to 12 weeks behind on what clients owe you, and you keep doing the work because stopping feels rude.

It's 9pm, you're reconciling a file with no invoices attached, and nothing moves without you.

"I would price a service up and then I would reduce it, as I thought it was too much and the client would not pay." Renee, Chapter 7

Are you charging enough?

Check your prices against the ranges from Chapter 5, updated for 2026, then see what a price rise really does to your revenue, even if a few clients leave.

Prices in the book were set at April 2025. The 2026 figures add 3.4% for inflation since then (ABS consumer price index, April 2025 to June 2026), rounded. Treat them as a guide, not a rule. Your value sets your price.

Questions

What format is the book?

The eBook is US$4.99 and you can read it on any device. If you prefer paper, the paperback is on Amazon.

The book is Australian. Will it work for me in the US or elsewhere?

Yes. The price ranges and a few compliance examples are Australian, and they're labelled that way. The ideas on pricing, growth and workflow apply wherever you run your practice. The calculators work in any currency, and you can filter the Education articles to the ones that apply everywhere.

I don't know where to start. Which chapter, or which program?

Start where it hurts. The Where to start page takes two minutes and sends you to the right chapter and program week. Still not sure? Book a 15-minute call.

What's the difference between Do it yourself, Cohort and Done for you?

Do it yourself gives you every module, template and calculator for the programs you choose, at your own pace. Cohort is live with Renee and a small group, one session a week for six weeks per program. Done for you means Renee's team implements the program inside your business.

Do I have to take all three programs?

No. Price, Grow and Flow are six weeks each. Take one, two or all three. All three together is the full 18 weeks.

When does the next cohort start?

Intake dates go to the insider list first. Join the list and you'll hear before anyone else.

What currency are the prices in? Do I pay GST?

Program and book prices are in US dollars. Australian customers pay GST on top at checkout. Customers outside Australia don't pay GST.

How do I pay?

Through a secure online checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.

What does Done for you cost?

It starts at US$5,000 per program. Every practice is different, so send an enquiry and you'll get the scope and a fixed price within two business days.

Are the free downloads really free?

Yes. Enter your name and email and the download opens straight away. A copy comes to your inbox too, with the occasional pricing lesson. Unsubscribe any time.

Can I get a refund?
